Federica Biasi & Simone Bonanni

Federica Biasi, 1989, graduated with full marks at Istituto Europeo di Design in 2011. From 2011 to 2013 she worked as interior and graphic designer with several design studios in Milan. In 2014 she moved to Amsterdam to start a detailed study on Nordic design and emerging trends, focusing on the concept of aesthetical beauty and formal simplicity; this experience enriched her personal, fresh and delicate style. Now she works on interior styling and product design, she collaborates with IED Milano and as a creative consultant for Italian and foreign companies, focusing on new trend hunting.

Simone Bonani, born in Pordenone in 1989, graduated in Industrial Design at IED Milano in 2011. His final project work was awarded with Honourable Mention at the 23rd edition of ADI Compasso d’Oro (Targa Giovani). In the same year he started his professional career at Valerio Sommella’s studio. In 2012 he moved to Amsterdam, where he joined Marcel Wander’s team and collaborated with international companies. Back to Italy, Simone opened his own studio and now he works with Italian and international brands, and combines design projects with his employment as a teacher at Istituto Europeo di Design.

The collaboration of Federica and Simone originated with the goal of joining and conveying their design points of view to physical objects, together with their approaches and aesthetical sensibility; since the beginning Incipit has appeared as the perfect brand to start this new journey with.
